Dragon Culture

Dragons through the millennia have developed a culture unique to themselves. Their traditions include complex hierarchy systems for protection and elaborate wedding rituals, as well as a duodecennial celebration of upcoming Dragon generations. Dragon Draughts remains a popular board game and most Dragons possess a fondness for riddles, puzzles, and other gameplay. Some idioms and proverbs of Dragons have gained usage by other creatures. Many Dragons live together in banks, working with each other to excel in their guilds (a Bank is a group of Dragons who may or may not be closely related, living near each other and working together). In honor of their friendship with the Dragons, the Moles built the Dragon City; the Fairies have also been Dragon allies since antiquity. Many libraries filled with academic research and literature—such as the Historia draconis in Warfang—have been built or maintained by Dragons for thousands of years, and there are numerous Temples located in the Dragon Kingdom. The very first created Dragons were Pyrus and Fria, breathed to life with Living Water by the Genesis Hydra, Himself also likened to a three-headed Dragon in form. The Dragon population has suffered bottlenecks during the various wars.
