The Dragonfall Prophecy
Ancient prophecy states that every ten Dragon generations, a Purple Dragon* will be born, destined to take all of the world into a new Age.
*The prophecy uses the word Groops, which means "one who twists", and refers to a Dragon or Griffin.
Text
There are three sections to the Dragonfall Prophecy. The first section is an overview, comprising three sentences. The second section goes over the state of the world and the elements, in general. The third section is a poem set in seven stanzas (each a pair of couplets) and gives more detail.

Section the First
A Great Rarity shall come.
In the tenth generation there shall hatch from a Purple egg a Dragon, who is destined to serve the Ancient Ancestors well.
The birth of the Purple Dragon shall mark a New history for all creatures.
Section the Third
When malice scorns yon brightest day,
Scorched black the withered Realms decay,
And He who turneð from pure light,
Now fallen into Darkest Night.
Lands sundered all by scourging fire,
The dragons felled in ruin dire,
All slain by Shadow's killing stroke,
Or crushed beneath the tyrant's yoke.
From ashes of despair shall rise,
The Light of hope to free the skies,
Unlocking ancient wisdoms five,
To keep the flame of hope alive.
Through stranger skies to turn the tide,
Where talon, tail, and horn collide,
There turning Shadow from her hate,
Two souls entwine to meet their fate.
Yet heed the wisdoms in thy Skin,
The same dark power lies within,
Hold true to bonds of love fresh sprung,
Lest to the Darkness lost unsung.
Pass through inferno's deadly maw,
Be swallowed whole, wing, tooth, and claw,
One sacrificed shall play a part,
Extinguished in the fire's heart...
Keen talons flash and dragons fly,
The battle joined in crimson sky,
And evil foul at last undone,
By kindred skin, the 'Chosen One.'
Elements
Æther
The second section of the prophecy specifically references the Æther element as being above all others. And though it isn't directly mentioned in the poem section, its qualities are: hope and love. The lure of Dark Æther, too, is warned against. The mention of "ancient wisdoms five" refers to Æther and the four pre-Æther elements used by the Purple Dragons.
Electricity
Electricity is mentioned in the scrolls immediately after Æther. This is taken to refer to both literal and figurative lightning, as well as the Electricity element, as a whole.
Ice
The crest for Ice is also seen in the text. There can be a certain sense of gravity when it comes to the Ice element, as its solid form is associated with cold, barren lands, but it is also linked with peace, and its liquid form essential to life. The reference in the Prophecy seems to encompass all these attributes.
Earth
The prophecy mentions the element of Earth, as well: the earth itself is said to be set right: instead of languishing under a cruel tyrant, the inhabitants of the world are instead freed.
Fire
According to prophecy, the Purple Dragons will have a beginning near Fire. They will rise up and become a flame of Hope in the Darkness. Purple Dragons also have their end in Fire: sacrificed in the Belt.
Shadow
The Shadow element is referenced, as a metaphor for the Darkness, and to those trapped by it.
Wind
Though not directly stated, the Wind element is alluded to in mentions of sky and flying.
Alchemy
Though also not explicitly named, the Alchemy qualities of healing and forgiveness are implied, through "Turning Shadow from her hate".
Fear
The Fear element is difficult to understand, but its intrinsic qualities—loyalty and awe—do seem to be present in the Prophecy, as well.
Fulfillment
Fulfillment of the Dragonfall Prophecy has come in multiple, complex ways. The lives of the Purple Dragons show the truth in the scrolls.
