Convexity

Convexity is a place in between the Worlds and the Dark Realms. It can be accessed from any world using a portal, but cannot normally be accessed from a Dark Realm. One may pass freely between Convexity and any World, but one cannot return to Convexity from a Dark Realm if one stays beyond the short time allowance; for example, if Spyro had not flown out of the opened Convexus Portal with Cynder in time, they would be trapped in the Stygian Orcus.

Wildlife

There are many fauna present in Convexity, including Jellyfish and massive Void Whales. They are not native to Convexity, but were accidentally introduced there by the many inter-dimensional travelers. They live long lives trapped in the realm, unable to escape, till their death.

Convexus Portal

The Convexus Portal or the Convexity Clone Portal was a clone portal linked to the Stygian Orcus Portal opened unintentionally by Malefor. It was created to prevent Malefor from temporarily escaping during the Night of Eternal Darkness, but more importantly, to prevent anyone from bringing him back permanently. The Convexus Portal was locked with Dragon magic, and could only be opened by another Dragon. It imploded after its reopening by Cynder.
