White Isle

The White Isle is a magical island situated near a large natural portal called the White Whirl. Due to the influence of the White Whirl, the environment of the isle is highly unusual, with discrepancies in temperature and spacetime. Found within its Celestial Caves, the White Isle is notably the location of the Celestial Temple.

Location

Various attempts have been made to map the island. The exact location of the White Isle is difficult to chart due to its proximity to the White Whirl, but it is suspected to be near the equator.

Geography

The isle is tall and rocky, with sandy beaches, and multiple large caves, including the Celestial Caves. The beaches are covered in a whitish sand with a high salt content. Uniquely, the ever-flowing waters around the isle are in a constant state of superfluidity, but any water which lands on plants or animals becomes frozen.

Climate

A mildly humid island, the temperature is cold year-round, but the air is slightly warmer within the Celestial Caves. Weather is typically overcast. The island air tastes sweet and slightly of salt; it is reported that the air within the caves is slightly sweeter.

The Heart of the Chronicler binds the Chronicler's soul to the Isle.
