A Dragon Temple

Imagine the thoughts of young Spyro when, after a long day’s journey, he set eyes upon the abandoned temple. It’s covered in twisted vines, and crumbling, not having been entered in years.

The Swamp Temple was victim to raids during the War, and was no longer the safe haven it once was. It was once a place for worship, far in the past; a place of refuge for children and orphaned eggs. But lives of many innocents were taken during the night of the Egg Raid, staining this holy place in blood forever.

Now it contains not a soul, the broken building sitting in silence, rotting, like the hearts of those who had devastated it.
